A Santa at the Lowe’s Christmas Market in Toronto was fired for telling a three year old the Maple Leafs suck. (Facebook.com/torontochristmasmarket)

Being a mall/department store Santa is a tough gig.  They spend all day lying, telling complete strangers they are going to get them everything they want for Christmas.  They spend all night drinking their sorrows away at a local watering hole.

A Santa in Toronto was canned when he told a three year old that his beloved Maple Leafs suck.  Even though the Santa was right, he did cross the line.

According to the “Toronto Sun” the Santa also told the kid he looked like Paul Bunyan because he was wearing a plaid, flannel jacket.

One thing about this whole unfortunate situation is obvious, the Lowe’s in Toronto hired Billy Bob Thornton’s character from “Bad Santa.”
