Texas Tech Red Raiders to Compete in College World Series for First Time in History
The Red Raiders will be taking their first trip in Texas Tech history to the Baseball College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
They’ll face off against Big 12 opponent TCU in their first game of the series on Sunday, June 15, at 2p.m at Ameritrade Park.
The Red Raiders Club, in collaboration with the Texas Tech Alumni Association, has announced it will host pre-game events prior to each Tech game at the College World Series.
The pre-game for Sunday’s game will be held at Old Mattress Factory Bar & Grill, adjacent to Ameritrade Park. The event will run from noon until the game beings at 2 p.m.
Fans can also participate in various events throughout the weekend, beginning Friday, June 13. There will be a Texas Tech Team Autograph Session at Ameritrade Park from 3:30 to 4 p.m. The College World Series Opening Ceremony is also open to the public (for free!) and begins at 8:30 p.m., also at Ameritrade Park.
