Few hockey pundits would have predicted a Stanley Cup Final between the Los Angeles Kings and the New Jersey Devils. Yet, those two teams will meet for the 2012 Stanley Cup when their best-of-seven series begins on Wednesday in Newark, NJ. Here’s a preview of the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals.

The New York Rangers are in the Eastern Conference Finals in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Their coach, John Tortorella, is well-known for giving very short post-game interviews and answers -- so well-known for it that ESPN's DJ Steve Porter made a video mashup about it.

Okay, so we don't have a whole bunch of hockey fans in El Paso, but how about hot chicks with catfish? This is Jenna, a Nashville Predators girl. We hear Jenna hails from Minnesota and likes to ice fish, so handling this monstrosity presents no problems. It also explains how Nashville comes by girls who skate so well. What it doesn't explain is why there's a catfish on the ice.

You'd think with it's biggest star out most of the season with concussion problems that hockey would be a little more careful. Nope. This year's Stanley Cup Playoffs have been so physical and full of cheap shots, it got the attention of those Taiwanese news animation people who made a video, complete with fighting Penguins, explosions and fans being sprayed by brains and guts. Hooray!

Normally seeing the names Raffi and Marian in a headline brings to mind a couple of female shopping buddies, but I don't believe this Marian will be taking Raffi to the mall anytime soon. Not after what Raffi did.

This is just ridiculous, and a bit scary. The Canucks led the NHL with the best record almost all season long, get all the way to Game Seven of the Stanley Cup Finals...and lost to the Boston Bruins. Fans were understandably upset. But more than a few were more than upset -- they were stupid!

What an amazing run by the Boston Bruins, having to break the home ice spell to stone the Vancouver Canucks to win its first cup since 1972! To do it, Boston had to become the first team in the series to win on the other team's ice. The secret? It wasn't ALL Vancouver's ice...

So much for home ice advantage. The Boston Bruins defeated the Vancouver Canucks, 4-0, on the Canucks’ home ice Wednesday night to win the Stanley Cup, the first time the franchise has claimed hockey’s holy grail since 1972.
