Want to own a piece of NBA history? Thanks to eBay, your prayers could finally be answered.

The online bidding site currently has a pair of Converse sneakers signed and worn by basketball player Gene Conley up for sale. They could be yours -- if you have $3,000 to spare, anyway.

Yep, that's the current asking price for the shoes worn by Conley, who played six seasons in the NBA, including four for the Boston Celtics and two for the New York Knickerbockers (aka the Knicks). (Conley was also known for his stint in Major League Baseball, during which he played for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Boston Red Sox, among other teams.)

The bidding closes this Sat., Apr. 2, so if you want to get your hands -- er, feet -- on these shoes, you're going to have to act fast!
