RAYMONDVILLE, Texas (AP) — Former Buffalo quarterback Kevin Kolb has been charged with boating while intoxicated in South Texas.

Willacy County jail records show Kolb was arrested early Saturday and released hours later on $3,000 bond.

KGBT-TV reports Kolb was arrested by a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department agent.

Jail records don't list an attorney for the 29-year-old Kolb, who's from Victoria, Texas. No publicly listed phone number could immediately be located for him. An agent did not immediately return a message Tuesday.

Kolb was released by the Bills in March after failing a physical. He was sidelined since late August after suffering a concussion during a 30-7 preseason loss at Washington.

It was at least the third concussion for Kolb, who previously played for Philadelphia and Arizona.
