Battle On The Border: Mares Vs. Morel The Weigh In [AUDIO]

On a beautiful El Paso day, media and fans alike, converged on The Garden in downtown El Paso for the weigh in’s for all the fighters for the Battle On The Border.
Without much excitement though, Abner Mares and Eric Morel both made weight and are ready for tomorrow night and their fight at the Don Haskins Center on Showtime.
All fighter’s on the card were there and very accessible to not only the media but the fans as well. All boxers on the card stopped and took pictures with fans, which was really nice to see.
I was able to interview Abner Mares and also El Paso’s own Antonio Escalante.
