Andy Roddick was about to play in the rain-delayed U.S. Open yesterday after rain stopped the action for two straight days.  But the Louis Armstrong court where Roddick was scheduled to play was still damp. To be sure, no professional athlete wants to lose out on a payday due to avoidable injury, but dang! Chill out!

Roddick, the 21st seed, eventually upset the fifth seed, David Ferrer. Maybe he was a little freaked out watching Roddick go ape.
