Warriors Carry Championship Celebration Onto Plane [VIDEO]
The Golden State Warriors began the championship celebration in Cleveland after winning the NBA Finals in six games on Tuesday, but the team doesn't appear to be slowing down on the cross-country flight back to the Bay Area.
Forward Harrison Barnes, who started all 21 playoff games for the Warriors, shared a video he took aboard the team plane.
Golden State has plenty to celebrate after the franchise ended a 40-year NBA Championship drought by defeating LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. For a team that recorded winning seasons in just five of the past 21 seasons, the Warriors have made one of the sport's best turnarounds in the past three years.
The franchise won just 23 games in the 2011-12 season. Three years later, the Dubs won 67 games while claiming the MVP trophy and the Larry O'Brien trophy.
