UTEP Women’s Basketball: Hometown Hero Kayla Thornton Ready for Sophomore Season [VIDEO]

UTEP forward Kayla Thornton talks about the upcoming 2011-12 season. A 6-1 sophomore out of El Paso’s Irvin HS, Thornton wound up starting as a true freshman late in the season to help her injury-ravaged team. She was fourth on the team scoring 7.0 ppg and averaged a team-high 5.8 rpg.
