The season is right around the corner with a season kick-off set for Jan. 29, as the Miners host rivals NM State in an exhibition game. They begin their regular season against two Pac-12 affiliates in Arizona State (Feb. 4) and Arizona (Feb. 7).

Other non-conference opponents include NM State (Feb. 11), Utah Valley (Feb. 13), Angelo State (Feb. 19), Lubbock Christian (Feb. 21) and Big 12 affiliate Oklahoma State (March 21).

Rice is set to host the 2021 Conference USA Tournament beginning on April 13 in Houston.

In the 2019 campaign, UTEP ended the season with a 10-7-3 overall record. The Miners reached the C-USA championship tournament for the first time since 2016. Last year was also the first winning season in C-USA since 2014. Balogun's squad will return 21 players and eight starters.
