Last night, the United States National Soccer Team, secured their place in the quarterfinals of the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup with a 1-0 win over Costa Rica.

The United States finished with a perfect record in Group C and clinched first place.

The game looked as if it was going to end in a 0-0 draw, when in the 82nd minute Brek Shea, was able to score his first international goal which would lead the U.S. to a late victory.

Yesterday's win, also sets a new record for the U.S giving them their eighth consecutive win.

The Men's National Team, will now try to keep their streak going against the third place team in Group B (El Salvador).
