Earlier this morning, U.S. Men's National Team head coach Gregg Berhalter made it official and called up 27 players to begin their preparations for three October matches of World Cup Qualifying. El Paso native Ricardo Pepi was recalled to the USMNT and he will be reporting to training camp in Austin this Sunday.

"We are excited to get the group back together for this next round of World Cup Qualifiers," Berhalter said. "This squad represents a diverse group of talent, and we will need to rely on each and every team member to navigate through these three games. Our focus now is Jamaica and preparing to win that game."

For Pepi, who joined 600 ESPN El Paso yesterday on SportsTalk, he will look to build on his terrific USMNT debut three weeks ago against Honduras.

The U.S. will open up against Jamaica one week from tomorrow night in Austin. Kickoff is set for 5:45 p.m. MT and the match will be televised on ESPN2. On October 10th, the USMNT will play Panama at Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City. That game will start at 4 p.m. MT and it will be televised on Paramount+ and UNIVERSO. Then, they wrap up the three-match set on Wednesday, October 13th when they host Costa Rica in Columbus, Ohio. Kickoff is at 5 p.m. MT and it can be seen on ESPN2.
