As the Major League Baseball season begins another 162-game season, one fan in the Los Angeles area would like to change the nickname of the Dodgers. After all, the franchise has only used that nickname since 1891 and who the heck cares about tradition? As you can read here in a recent editorial by Leon Furgatch in the LA Times, he would like to see the team honor the original inhabitants of Chevez Ravine.......the Yang-na Indians. No, I am not making this up and it is still not April Fool's Day for another 10 hours.
