The suspect in a shooting at the University of Virginia that killed three members of the football team was taken into custody Monday, more than 13 hours after he allegedly gunned down fellow students in a bus as they returned from a school field trip, authorities said.

Sadly, we all just witnessed another mass shooting in a school and one of the biggest ongoing discussions is how to secure campuses and classrooms.

A 13-year-old boy was transported to Lubbock on Wednesday after being injured in a drive-by shooting in Clovis, New Mexico.

Hopefully when we see the star on the mountain we will remember how it beat for the lost loved ones and that our city will never forget them.
