A flight from El Paso to Houston had just departed its terminal at El Paso International Airport when it suddenly had to return due to a major glitch with a passengers cell phone.

Things are bigger in Texas, that's for sure, and that saying applies to the airports in the lone star state as well as other things, big and small ... we do both here ... in Texas.

Not much about what the actual threat was has been released but, in the interest of passenger safety, the FBI took it seriously and redirected the flight to El Paso.

You can talk smack about El Paso's airport all you want but, true travelers know it's actually one of the most user friendly airports in the world.
