With 2022 coming to an end, it's the perfect time to get a New Years Eve soundtrack prepared. I posted on our Instagram and Facebook page about which song, or songs, would El Paso play for New Years. The results? Well they're a mix of all kinds of rock & metal.

Let's start with the Facebook results first:

Had some love be shown to classic rock bands such as AC/DC "Highway to Hell" (Danny Laboy)

Francisco Munoz said Iron Maiden "Wasted Years.

Joe Price loves THE BOSS, Bruce Springsteen's "Born To Run".

Joseph Villarreal said U2 "New Year's Day". (Kind of an obvious but fitting choice, in regards to the song name)

Abby Torres had 2 in mind: Machine Head "My Hands Are Empty"

& any Ghost song would suffice. Well if it was up to me... I'd say more like Cirice.

The most interesting choice was by Jose Bustillos...

VERY interesting choice. If I was going to choose a more HEAVIER version, I'd go with this one...

Now let's go to Instagram

Marissaanase said Blink 182 "All The Small Things". Kind of a fitting choice since they'll be back on tour with new music in 2023.

Whatadad69 said he'll blast out some early Avenged Sevenfold, just to hear The Rev drumming. R.I.P. Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan...

Shinigami_love_apples17 loves starting & ending the year with a bang. Her choice? Motionless in White "Slaughterhouse". Nice little concert flashback to Halloween...

Justinrazomusic said Bullet For My Valentine. Great choice, especially because of their albums was recorded out at Sonic Ranch...

Janette_777 LOVES Matt Walst so she'll start the new year right with Three Days Grace.

Smolspookz said David Bowie "The Man Who Sold the World". NOT the Nirvana cover, but the ORIGINAL version.

Pawsofluv would blast out Tinsel & Brimstone, because her daughter plays on the song. And she would blast out Jerry Cantrell's Brighten album.

Yaritaa_ loves the Deftones. I know Veronica Gonzales would 2nd that comment!

Hopperex threw out a HUGE throwback: Bulletboys "Smooth Up In Ya"

And finally, 915brewser showing love to Freddie Mercury by picking Queen "We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions". (Because they both HAVE to go together)

All some fantastic choices! If I was going to choose 2 personal ones, I'd also pick Iron Maiden "2 Minutes to Midnight"

And because I'm a HUGE Rush fan, I'd go with Countdown. I think it's a perfect choice for a New Years Eve countdown...

Have a Happy 2023!
