Tonight's exhibition game between the San Diego Padres and El Paso Chihuahuas should be like a trip down memory lane to El Pasoans attending the game at Southwest University Park. Padres manager Andy Green released his starting lineup, which features six players who at one time called El Paso home.

Meanwhile, the Chihuahuas will have some new faces along with some familiar ones.

The game is a nice tuneup for the Chihuahuas, who will start their regular season on April 5th in Las Vegas before returning home to open their season five nights later at Southwest University Park against Salt Lake City.

600 ESPN El Paso is already at the ballpark, and Tim Hagerty will have the call beginning at 6 p.m. As for the weather, the skies are overcast, and the weather resembles San Diego a little more than the Sun City. That is a blessing for many of us who are used to 90-degree temperatures for many of the Chihuahuas games at Southwest University Park.
