Rulis’ International Kitchen Debuts New Brunch Menu March 14th
Over the last few months, Chef Rulis Gonzalez began remodeling his restaurant, Rulis' International Kitchen. Featured on Diner's, Drive-Ins, and Dives, the El Paso native scaled down his menu during the pandemic and he saw his drive thru business grow. As he finished his new layout, Chef Rulis thought about adding a Sunday Brunch to his lineup. There are many popular brunch spots in the area including Crave, Carlos and Mickey's, Ripe, and The Double Eagle in Mesilla. Beginning this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Rulis' International Kitchen will offer a special Sunday Brunch menu.
I had the chance to sample some of the new brunch menu items at Rulis'. Some of my favorites include the Green Chilaquiles, Lion's Mane Pozole, and Carrot Lox. I know what you are probably saying, carrot lox? As someone who grew up eating bagels and lox, I was stunned by how authentic the vegetarian creation tasted. Don't get too hungry looking at the pictures below, and I am happy that there will be another brunch spot for people to enjoy in El Paso.
