ANDERSON, Ind. (AP) — Reggie Wayne is revved up and ready to get started on football.

The perennial Pro Bowl receiver made another grand entrance Wednesday, this time hitching a ride to Anderson University in an Indy car two-seater car with two-time Indianapolis 500 pole-winner Ed Carpenter.

His official message was simple: The Colts need to start fast in 2014.

But the subliminal message might prove just as important — that Wayne has his wheels back after going down with a season-ending torn ACL in his right knee in October. Wayne says he has been cleared for all football activities though he's not sure how much he'll do when practice opens Thursday.

Wayne has previously arrived in a dump truck, a military convoy and a helicopter but calls this his favorite.
