After three seasons with the Miami Heat, the Heat used the NBA's amnesty provision on Miller last week to lessen their luxury tax burden.

Mike Miller, who went to the University of Florida was originally elected by the Orlando Magic in the 2000 NBA Draft. He has also played for the Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves and Washington Wizards. He was named Rookie of the Year in 2001 and also NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2006.

Originally it was said that he would sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder, but Miller has told the Memphis Grizzlies that he will join them for the 2013-2014 season and who knows, maybe even longer!

Miller played with the Grizzlies for over 6 seasons from 2003-2008. I say he will be adding a much needed versatility to their wing rotation. Miller hit big shots for the Miami Heat during the postseason and could continue with Memphis. His worry, mainly staying in the court. Now at 33 years old he has suffered many injuries over his 13 seasons. He hasn't played 60 or more games since 2008-2009.

I wish nothing but the best for my boy Mike Miller. As a "3-pointer specialist", Miller has proven himself and his addition to the Grizzlies team ensures other teams in the West they won't be able to enjoy his services.
