After 2 years as the head basketball coach of the L.A. Lakers, Bryon Scott has been fired. The team announced on Sunday night that they have decided to move on from Scott.

The Lakers finished the season with the 2nd worst record in the NBA at 17-65. They lost four more games than last season. So that means that for two years in a row, the Lakers have had back to back franchise worst seasons.

The Lakers getting rid of Scott makes sense because they can move on from the Kobe Bryant era. Plus with the fact that they will have plenty of money to spend in the off season, getting a new coach could attract some big names to L.A.
