Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliot has been accused of domestic violence by his girlfriend. According to TMZ, Elliot's girlfriend filed a police report with the Columbus PD on Friday morning accusing Elliot of assaulting her in a parked car. Elliot for his part denies assaulting her.

Elliot's girlfriend who's named Tiffany Thompson, posted pictures of her bruises on her Instagram page but she later removed them. You can view the images here. Elliot was not arrested by Columbus PD because there were conflicting reports on wether or not he assaulted Thompson. A person in the car that was with them said that the assault never happen.

Elliot's father Stacy Elliot's told TMZ the accusations are false:

"The reported allegations and Internet postings regarding our son are completely false. Ezekiel has done nothing wrong."
"The police have investigated this matter and eyewitnesses have verified the lack of any wrongdoing. The actual evidence in this matter clearly indicates what the real motivation was behind the police being called."
"We are confident that when the truth comes to light it will reveal the falsity of these claims. Ezekiel has been fully cooperative with the police and will continue to do so -- along with cooperating with the NFL -- moving forward

According to Mike Leslie of WFAA, Elliot has saved text messages proving she is trying to set him up.
