Jameis Winston Doesn’t Have Time for Your Stupid Checkout Lines, Steals Crab Legs in Florida
Florida State Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston is accused of taking crab legs and crawfish from a grocery store without paying for them.
The grand total of the stolen seafood -- $32. Winston claims he forgot to pay for the items, which might be legit. I mean, who goes into a grocery store with the intent to snag crab legs?
In a statement released through his attorney, Tim Jansen, he said, "I went to the supermarket with the intent to purchase dinner but made a terrible mistake for which I'm taking full responsibility. In a moment of youthful ignorance, I walked out of the store without paying for one of my items."
Winston wasn't charged with a crime and if he completes a community service program, no misdemeanor charges will be filed. Regardless, the Florida State baseball team has indefinitely suspended Winston. Calm down - he's a relief pitcher.
We'll just leave these right here:
