Texas Is Hosting 16 World Cup Matches

The 2026 FIFA World Cup runs from June 11 through July 19, 2026, with games across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Texas alone is hosting 16 matches between Houston and the Dallas-Fort Worth area- including a massive semifinal at AT&T Stadium which will be called Dallas Stadium (FIFA prohibits corporate sponsor titles).

The Cheapest World Cup Ticket in Texas

If you want the most affordable Texas ticket right now, look at Cape Verde vs. Saudi Arabia in Houston at Houston Stadium (AKA NRG Stadium). That match takes place on June 26 and tickets start at $216 on the secondary market! That’s the only Texas match currently listed under $500.

It may not be the splashiest headline matchup (67 vs. 61 in FIFA rankings), but if your goal is simply to say “I went to the World Cup in Texas,” this is your golden ticket.

Expensive Texas World Cup Tickets

On the other end of the spectrum? The July 14 semifinal at AT&T Stadium is starting around $2,647. Most Texas matches are landing in the $800 to $1,100 range, especially games featuring powerhouses like:

  • England vs. Croatia
  • Argentina vs. Austria

Mainly if they’re big names, they’re going to have a bigger price tag.
