Texas Bucket List Makes a New Stop at Favorite El Paso Restuarant
The Texas Bucket List has been showing some incredible landmarks & places to eat in Texas for years. 22 seasons & the show's still going strong; and of course El Paso HAS appeared on the show before. In fact we were recently featured again during Season 22; a local restaurant found on the east side.
The Texas Bucket List made a stop at Carlos & Mickey's in El Paso
While officially the place is named Los Bandidos de Carlos & Mickey’s, we simply know it as Carlos & Mickey's, found just behind the Bassett Mall.
On their "Bite of the Week" feature, Shane McAuliffe, talked with the owner, Rosa Saenz, & she gave a brief history of the place, talked about how her father was the one who started the restaurant, before she became the owner in the 90s.
Shane was also told about how spicy the food is, so he decided to try the carnitas. And of course, he had to try the famous 40 oz. margaritas that Carlos & Mickey's is known for. You can see everything that Shane had to say about the food & what the locals have said from the feature that was uploaded onto their official YouTube channel.
Of course as mentioned before, this wasn't the only time The Texas Bucket List has visited a favorite restaurant here in town, or a place that we definitely know & love. There have been at least over a dozen more spots that Shane and the Texas Bucket List has come to visit while in town.
You can see the other times El Paso was featured on the Texas Bucket List below.
