Sunland Park already sells more pot than the rest of the state, now they're doing it from the biggest dispensary in the land of enchantment.

Sunland Park, New Mexico has been moving more mota than any other New Mexico city lately with some out of state help. (SP: Thank you El Paso - EP: De nada mi amigo.)

Now, more out of state assistance is ramping things up as Mango Cannabis brings quiet 'lil old Sunland Park a marijuana Megamart.

The new Mango Cannabis shop in Sunland Park measures 9,000 square feet and opened in December, 2024. Company reps say they plan to open more to NM.

Last month, for instance, Dark Matter’s Sunland Park store sold more than $1.4 million in cannabis, leading the state in dispensary sales, according to The Data Heard, which tracks data on New Mexico’s cannabis industry. Field of Dreams last month sold more than $1.1 million. And Cookies, which opened its second New Mexico store in Sunland Park in August, recorded nearly $774,000 in recreational sales in December.  - abqjournal

The Sunland Park location opened December 20th, (just in time for everyone to have a "green" Christmas), and in about a week, raked in $91,363. Honestly, I think I'm in the wrong business.

Mango Cannabis is based in Oklahoma where medical marijuana is legal. I'd say it's a fair guess that Texans along the Texas/Oklahoma border are doing the same thing El Pasoans are doing in Sunland Park and Las Cruces.

Oklahoma is cashing in on Texas from 2 sides now Governor Abbott. Are you and the state legislature counting all the money flowing out of Texas? You could fund a lot of cool and needed projects with "green" green. Just sayin' ...
