If anyone had a chance to watch the Texas Longhorns game against Iowa State last night, they realized how lucky the Longhorns were to escape Ames with a win. Late in the 4th quarter, it appeared that Longhorns' running back Johnathan Gray fumbled the ball away to the Cyclones as he was fighting for the end zone.

However, the officials ruled that Gray was down by contact at the Iowa State 1-yard line and the instant replay official upheld the call because "video evidence wasn't indisputable." That was enough to send Cyclones head coach Paul Rhoads into a frenzy when he met the media after his team's 31-30 loss to Texas.

The win improves the Longhorns record to 3-2 on the season, including 2-0 in the Big 12. However, they might be in for a long morning next Saturday, when they play the Oklahoma Sooners in the annual Red River Rivalry. Team 600 ESPN El Paso will have the action beginning at 10am.
