I’m Ready To Road Trip To Try This New West Texas Restaurant

Whenever I drive through small towns I love trying their local food spots. Small towns sometimes have the best food and now there is another one on my list.

Back in April 22nd, 2022, I wrote an article about all the small-town restaurants in West Texas that you need to try. It made me really excited to travel around and try new spots so when this new restaurant popped up on my radar I got excited.

It is called Beckton’s Chophouse and Tavern and is located in Dickens, Texas. You could easily drive an hour to go try it because the food looks worth it but you also could be driving through it for other places.

This new spot has more than 30 years of combined experience in the restaurant industry, and they take pride in bringing Dickens and surrounding communities a dining option with the best hand-cut steaks and quality service around.

They even have worked to package their meals in a way that lets you bring the quality of our meals into your home. So no matter if you want to eat there or take it with you, they sat, " we refuse to compromise on quality in our restaurant. That's why we hand select and hand cut our steaks to order."

They have a pretty big menu from appetizers like potato skins, bacon-wrapped jalapenos and more. They cook their steaks on live mesquite fire and it comes with your choice of potatoes and the salad bar. They also offer the entrees like chicken fried chicken, pork chips, salmon and more. They also offer beer and wine for people of age. You can see their full menu below.

I love that they offer daily specials that they always post on their social media. Then what really caught my eye was the all-you-can-eat fish fry all day long on Fridays.
