The old saying goes, "she's a keeper." In this case, Kris Benson has to be thankful that he didn't keep her. The former big league pitcher had his ex-wife arrested because she broke into his house and demanded money. But there is much more to this story. According to the New York Post, the 37-year old ex-Penthouse Pet arrived at Benson's house dressed in a bulletproof vest and had a black Taurus Judge revolver, an expandable baton, and a red folding Batman knife according to police. That's not all. Police also found a hatchet, Taser, 13 bullets, bag of syringes, and eight pills. That would be enough to scare the hell out of me, which is why Kris called 911 ran to the basement and then fled into the woods until police arrived at his home.

Anna gave an interview from the Cobb County Jail to the New York Post. She does not understand why her break-in and arrest is such a big deal. She also told the Post that despite everything, she still loves her husband of 15 years.

It’s just that “we have been married for 15 years, and he can’t keep it in his pants. He can’t stop f--king my friends, in my house. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t love him.”

In case you're wondering why Benson was wearing a bulletproof vest, it's because she is planning to start her own company and was testing out the vest to get it "to get it to mold to her body," according to police. The decision to split from his crazy wife now seems to be the best move Kris Benson has made since his decision to retire from baseball on January 10th 2011.
