If you've ever wondered what place humans hold in their heart for man's best friend, this video should tell you everything. The video was posted on FitFam on Instagram a couple of days ago and the funniest thing about this very tense situation is the comments from people who watched the video and only had one question and it wasn't about the rifle being pulled from a vehicle by El Paso Police Department officers.

The question on virtually everyone's mind in the comment section was what the heck happened to the dog who wandered through the scene. There were the random 'only in El Paso' and 'just another day in El Paso' comments, but for the most part when people watched this video they were only concerned about the welfare of the dog.

"Everybody’s walking by like there’s nothing happening and the only one that’s panicking is the dog," is what one commenter said.

Another wrote, "El perro todo asustado," but the dog didn't look scared he just looked like a stray going on about his day.

I think my favorite was, "Scrappy Doo freaking out rn."

There is no word on what happened to the people in the vehicle at the Academy on Americas or the dog in the video. No word on why the police were called - I checked their press releases and there is none detailing the incident - or what happened to the pupper running around in the parking lot. Hopefully everyone got home safely.

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.
