As it is watching those commercials about kids going to bed hungry is so sad to see. But just imagine what it is like to stress out about not being able to afford the supplies your baby needs. Something like that can really break parents and single parents down.

The pandemic also didn't help parents much since places were closing and not having enough business. Even now as things are getting better some parents are still struggling financially. Thankfully, the parents that are going through difficult times can have some help.

Parents can luckily have some help from the helping hands at the non-profit organization HERPantry. The non-profit organization holds distribution events every month that help families in the borderland out. HERPantry also helps out the communities that surround El Paso.

If you or someone you know is going through hard times and could use a helping hand let them know they can pick up free baby supplies. HERPantry will be distributing free diapers, wipes, formula, and menstrual products for women. The free distribution will be Sunday, August 22 from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Holy Ghost Tabernacle. Also, if you're planning to stop by for some items make sure you have a photo i.d. with you at pick up.
