You and your best furry friend will have the time of your life hanging out and watching baseball with the El Paso Chihuahuas for Bark at the Park.

We all want to get taken out to a ballgame and includes your four-legged friends too! The El Paso Chihuahuas are hosting another "Bark at the Park" baseball game where you can take your pooch to the park with you.

This was one of my favorite events to take Tubby too and he always loved all the attention he'd get from fellow baseball fans. We'd gather together a group of ten or more pugs and all head out the Southwest University Park all proudly wearing our Chihuahuas gear- dogs included.

Unfortunately my newest rescue doesn't have all her shots yet so I can't take her but you can still go enjoy some fun in the sun. This Sunday, August 15th is the next Bark at the Park. Tickets starts at as low as $10 and you head to the website to purchase your tickets, you'll see Tubby's good friend Po Boy in his Chihuahuas gear on the page.

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.
