In celebration of the completion of the RAD program, the Housing Opportunity Management Enterprises (HOME), formerly the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso (HACEP), will be hosting a free family-friendly outdoor match in front of El Paso’s remodeled iconic Blue Flame building.

Cinta de Oro is best known for his time with WWE under the ring name Sin Cara where he was the second and longest-tenured wrestler to use the persona. Fans also love him outside the ring, asking the famed wrestler to slap-smack them on the chest, all in the name of fandom.

Born and raised on the Borderland, Cinta de Oro attended Burgess High School and spent his youth growing up in Juárez and El Paso’s Segundo Barrio in the Moorhead public housing apartments. Therefore he is now lending his celebrity to proudly partner with HOME to demonstrate to kids growing up in public housing that dreams can come true despite life’s challenges.

The El Paso community is invited to attend the free event, highlighting the culture, spirit, and border heritage along with national officials and dignitaries.

The wrestling event will feature four local wrestlers, followed by the main event where Cinta de Oro will vie for the International Open Challenge Wrestling (IOCW) Championship belt, taking on Peruvian Champion Rayo. Lucha Frontera will also bring wrestlers from Mexico and United States, including El Dragon, Hijo de Imposter (KAOZ), Black Widow, and many more.
