Usually when you think of El Paso Water you think of the check you need to write every month for their service. But El Paso Water is going to be holding an event that will give you the chance to look at water and El Paso Water in a different light.

Water Festival 2019: Celebrating Water through Arts and Culture will give you the chance to enjoy music, dance, arts and crafts, and award-winning short films that explore how water influences our lives. There will be hands-on activities that the whole family can participate in including arts and crafts, painting murals, solar painting, rain sticks, and edible aquifers.

There will also be performances by the Ysleta Del Sur Pueblo and Ysleta and Socorro Independent School District students. Winning videos from the Texas Water Foundation's film contest will be screened, and the winning entries from El Paso Water's Wood Water Drop art contest will also be on display.

Admission to the event is free. There will be food trucks and shaved ice to feed everyone's face. For more information, contact April Lopez at 915-621-2000.
