El Paso Triple A Baseball Team Unveils Part Of New Logo

If you were driving on I-10 today, you might have noticed a new mystery billboard in various parts of town. It is courtesy of Mountainstar Sports Group and the El Paso Triple-A baseball team. The franchise still does not have a nickname or mascot, but the partial logo released can help us start the guessing game.

From the eyes, it might be safe to eliminate the aardvark from final consideration. However, the other four finalists: buckaroos, chihuahuas, desert gators, and sun dogs could all be definite possibilities. As the team continues to unveil more of their logo, the nickname will be easier to decipher. One thing is certain: the red and black colors are catchy and resemble the same colors that the Diablos wore just a few years ago.
