Beginning next week on Monday – the El Paso Streetcar will extend its schedule hours for the summer.

With so much happening this summer in downtown between games at Southwest University Park, and various art and entertainment events, the El Paso Streetcar has decided to extend its scheduled hours.

Starting on Monday, May 13, 2019, the El Paso Streetcar will extend its weekend service hours to meet the needs of summer downtown programming.

The new Streetcar summer schedule will run into 3:00 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.

Current Streetcar Summer Schedule

  • Sunday through Wednesday: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. (Midnight)
  • Thursday through Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.

Beginning Week of May 13, Streetcar Summer Extended Schedule

  • Sunday through Wednesday: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. (Midnight)
  • Thursday through Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 a.m.

The streetcar offers 27 convenient stops between Downtown El Paso to Glory Road Transit Center. The route features two loops that cover an array of museums and restaurants, Southwest University Park, historic neighborhoods, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the University of Texas at El Paso among many other landmarks that riders may want to visit.

El Paso Streetcar tickets can be purchased using the farebox inside any streetcar by using the exact change of $1.50 per ride or at any of the ticket vending locations throughout the route and Sun Metro transit centers. Student, military, senior citizens, and other discounts available.
