Chaseton Sare scored twice and the El Paso Rhinos made it a clean sweep with a 3-1 win over the Dallas Snipers Sunday afternoon.

After a scoreless first period, Sare opened the Rhinos' account at 12:02 of the second with assists from Dallas Klaassen and Leeam Tivers.

The Snipers equalized just 43 seconds later as Noah Hensley notched Dallas' first goal of the weekend against Rhinos goalie Trevor Buckmeier.

Phil Pugliese would restore El Paso's lead for good, scoring the game-winner at 15:11 of the third frame with assists to Don Alchin, Jr., and Tom Kuebler.

Sare wrapped the scoring with an unassisted goal with 29 seconds left in the game.

The Rhinos earned their league-best 37th win (37-1-1, 75 points) while the Snipers drop to  7-29-0 (14 points), fifth place in the six-team Mid-West Division of the Western States Hockey League.

El Paso will be idle next weekend before hosting the third place team in the Mountain Division, the Colorado Eagles, Feb. 9-11 at the El Paso County Events Center.
