Kids Can ‘Paint The Ice’ With El Paso Rhinos Players During Rhinos Kids Weekend
COVID put a pause to a lot of fun events in the borderland but as things slowly start to get back to normal many events are coming back and one of those events is happening this weekend!
For the first time since COVID, the El Paso Rhinos will be hosting Paint the Ice during their Kids Weekend event.
Kids 12 and under are invited to join Kids Weekend this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Kids will receive free admission to all three Rhinos games beginning January 20th through January 22nd.
If your child loves to paint on your house walls then Sunday’s game is the game you will want to attend because fans will be invited to head to the east end of the rink after Sunday’s game to pick up brushes and paint, and join the players in painting the ice. Paint the Ice is free for fans with proof of a game admission.
Players will be wearing neon paint-splatter jerseys throughout the weekend series to commemorate the weekend. These game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off online between 9 a.m. on January 20th through 6 p.m. January 22nd. You can find the link to the auction by clicking here.
“As the NA3HL Rhinos begin wrapping up their regular season, each game affects the playoff race. With only 11 regular-season games remaining, this weekend’s series between the third place Drillers and fourth place Rhinos will help determine if the Rhinos have home ice advantage for Fraser Cup playoffs,” said EP Rhinos officials.
The puck drops at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Tickets start at $5 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or the Coliseum Box Office.
With a valid Military ID Card or Veteran Identification Card, active and retired military personnel, veterans, and their families receive free admission to all home games.
