11 El Paso Figures That Could Easily Become A Halloween Costume
With Halloween approaching soon, now is the time to decide on what to be for this year. I know some popular costumes are of course any Marvel characters or the Minions... but I wanted to share some ideas on El Paso Halloween costumes.
Let's start with some sports mascots:
I think Spike, our OFFICIAL El Paso Rhino is a perfect choice. He loves kids & if you've gone to a game, he ALWAYS hypes up the crowd. You can even rent him out at parties if you want! Whenever he's around, people love to take photos with him. He also loves other El Paso sports
And while we're on the El Paso Chihuahuas, how about Chico, The El Paso Chihuahua? (Who doesn't love dogs?)
or his pal Ozzy, from the Locomotive FC? Both are excellent in hyping up the crowd at Southwest University Park. Just make sure to keep him away from Ozzy Osbourne...
If you want a sports throwback costume, how about Chili D or Kasey the Chicken from The El Paso Diablos?
or the El Paso Buzzard? I don't see many buzzard costumes out there...
One more sports idea: Aaron Jones could be one. You don't even need to use his Green Bay colors. You can use any jersey with his last name & his number, 33 or 29 from his UTEP days.
Maybe you don't want to go the sports route. Perhaps you want to go the superhero route. We'll we have our OWN superhero: Charlie Clark's Green Ghost.
If you truly want to represent El Paso: our very own Amigo Man.
Or the San Jacinto Plaza gators. You can easily put our star on the costume to let people know it's an El Paso gator.
I think one that definitely needs to become a costume: Paydirt Pete from UTEP. (Go Miners)
Or...if you really want to come up with a unique idea... one that El Pasoans would definitely get... you can dress up as this:
Now I am NOT saying to commit a crime. But this person & his outfit has been ABSOLUTELY been shared around online. There have been SO many memes & jokes online, people have been trying to find out WHO this person is. With everyone making fun of this "celebrity" I HAD to throw him on here.
So there are some ideas you can have for this year's Halloween. If you decide to use any, make sure to wear them at the next Halloween Parade!
