To say it's been a traumatic week for the city of Boston would be the understatement of a lifetime.  Sports has given Bostonians that sense of normalcy they've been craving since Monday's bombing.

Today's game also marked David Ortiz's return to the lineup.  Papi is the longest tenured player for the Red Sox, and gave a passionate speech before the game against Kansas City.  The brief speech includes on well placed, effective 'F-bomb'

Batting cleanup, Papi went 2 for 4 in Boston's 4-3 win over the Royals.  The normally prudish FCC had no issue with Papi's language.  FCC chairman Julius Genachowski tweeted this via the official FCC Twitter account @FCC

David Ortiz spoke from the heart at today's Red Sox game. I stand with Big Papi and the people of Boston - Julius

Mr. Genachowski is from the Boston area and went to Harvard Law School.
