600 ESPN El Paso's very own Steve Kaplowitz is being inducted into the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame this week, and we all would like to congratulate him for this honor! We'd also like to thank him for all his work and dedication to sports, our local athletes, and the city of El Paso!

Steve has become such a recognizable figure in El Paso through his hard work and commitment, his friendly, outgoing personality, and his honest talk. He's been the host of SportsTalk, El Paso's longest running sports talk show, on 600 ESPN El Paso longer than any other person, and he's built a strong following here in El Paso.

You can see him at so many events and games around town, and hear him promoting everything that makes El Paso great, so it's nice for him to get recognition like this. Congratulations, Steve!

Steve joins his father, the late Joel Kaplowitz in the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame, who was inducted into the Hall in 2008.
