Tonight, Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. will take on the hard hitting Marcos "El Chino" Maidana at the MGM in Las Vegas.

Despite having a dominant performance against Adrien Broner for the WBA welterweight title in his last fight, many fans believe Maidana just doesn't have what it takes to bring down the undefeated Mayweather.

I myself believe that Mayweather will emerge victorious tonight, however here are a few reasons why I think Maidana may prove most of us wrong.

First of all, Maidana has fought top fighters and has laid it all on the table and has only three losses, two of which coming from Amir Kahn and Devon Alexander. Going along with that experience he has notable wins over Victor Ortiz, Erik Morales and of course "little mayweather" Adrien Broner.

Maidana is also 7 years younger than the 37 year old Mayweather and really has nothing to lose. For Maidana, his job is to go in there fight his heart out and not hold back, that is why he is a very exciting fighter to watch.

Remember, it just takes one punch to change a fight and I believe Maidana will be looking for that all night.

Here is yesterdays weigh-in just in case you missed it.
