On Friday night, the El Paso Chihuahuas lost to Salt Lake Bees, 7-5. The Bees really had their way with the Chihuahuas, and in the stands as well.

As fans were coming into the ballpark before the game along the first baseline, they were blocked from the concourse because of a swarm of bees. Some fans were rerouted underneath the ballpark and some were directed to go up the stairs and over the concourse where the bees were.

Darren was at the game and was one of the fans who had to walk around the bees. In the video that he shot, you can see the bees flying around the speaker and some seem to be still hanging on the speaker.

I spoke with Angela Olivas of the Chihuahuas and she said the bees had been removed.
