Andress came into Baty-Simang Stadium on Friday night and routed Bowie 56-0, and in doing so clinched a playoff berth in District 2-5A.  The Eagles took a 14-0 lead into the second quarter thanks in part to consecutive interceptions by Bowie QB Justin Diaz.  Andress led 28-0 at the half as they spread the scoring around with running back Keandre Jones accounting for a touchdown, as well as wide receivers Jeremiah Cooper and Camryn Rice.

Strong safety Marcus Jones was a huge first half contributor as he had two interceptions.  Andress led 42-0 heading into the final quarter of the game and kept scoring despite a running clock for the majority of the second half en route to the easy victory.  Eagles' QB Jeremiah Tosky had two passing and one rushing touchdown, while running backs Keandre Jones, Travon Ware, Richuel Massey and Darren Bryant accounted for five touchdowns.

Andress moves to 7-2, 4-1 in District 2-5A and can clinch a share of the district championship with a win over Irvin in their season finale, combined with a win by Austin at Burges.  Bowie evens their record at 4-4, 2-3 in District 2-5A and can clinch the final playoff spot if they can defeat Jefferson next week.
