On a beautiful Thursday night, I started my 4th of July weekend with a great night at Southwest University Ballpark as the El Paso Chihuahuas beat the Albuquerque Isotopes 7-6.

The Chihuahuas win came in front of 10,135 fans, the largest crowd in Southwest University Park's history and the 29th sellout in 39 home openings for El Paso and they were able to get the win because of Jonathan Galvez's solo home run in the seventh inning.

It was an exciting game, I got to eat some great food and I even got myself a new cap. And to top it of the Chihuahuas put on one of the best firework shows I've ever seen.

Here's a couple of pictures from my experience at Southwest University Park.
