4 New Places for Eats and Drinks Coming to Northeast El Paso
Whenever the talk turns to “new places coming to El Paso”, you’re usually going to hear about two parts of town: the far Eastside and the far Westside.
That’s where most of the expansion of the city is taking place. But, folks in the Northeast, you haven’t been completely forgotten. Here are 4 places that have recently come, or are coming soon to N.E. - E.P.
1.) Olive Garden
Northeast El Paso got a new Olive Garden back in February. The new O.G. is at 4800 Trans Mountain. Remember, don’t fill up on breadsticks before the food comes out!
2.) Marco’s Pizza
There are two Marco’s in El Paso (far east and far west, of course). Their website puts the new location at 4380 Woodrow Bean. The owner estimates that the new Marco’s should be ready to open in mid to late-May.
3.) Dutch Bros.
Dutch Bros Coffee is quickly becoming El Paso’s go-to option when the line is too long at Starbucks. All we have for a timeline is “sometime later this year”. The Northeast Dutch Bros will be in the same shopping center as the new Olive Garden at 4800 Trans Mountain/Woodrow Bean.
4.) Tropical Smoothie Café
This is going to be the SIXTH location in El Paso for Tropical Smoothie Café! The fifth one opened earlier this month on the Eastside at 1513 N. Zaragoza. The Northeast location is going to be right there in that same area on Trans Mountain/ Woodrow Bean.
On top of all this, work is coming along on the multi-acre, multi-use housing/apartment/shopping project in the Northeast. I see it every time I play golf at Painted Dunes and it looks like it’s going to be huuuuuge!
