Something huge is going on with WWE Hall of Fame Wrestler Hulk Hogan. The WWE has terminated the contract with Hogan. Late Thursday night the WWE removed any reference to Hulk Hogan from the WWE website. They've also removed Hogan's merchandise link as well. Speculation is that Hogan made some controversial comments in an interview that has yet to be released and that was enough to get him fired from the WWE.

Darren Rovell of ESPN:

The only statement that Hogan has released so far is a cryptic tweet that he put on his
twitter account.

Hogan had returned to WWE television as one of the judges of the show " Tough Enough."

UPDATE: Hulk Hogan has issued and apology which he did in an interview with people.com:

"Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it. This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise. I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs."
