The Detroit Tigers' center fielder, Austin Jackson, got traded to the Mariners yesterday in the middle of Detroit's game against the White Sox.  Since the Mariners didn't want to risk an injury, he came out of the game IMMEDIATELY.

The Tigers' manager came on the field during an at bat, and told the umpire.  Then another player ran out to center field to replace Jackson and tell him about it.  The fans in Detroit seemed to realize what was happening, because they gave him a standing ovation.  Up until this point, he'd played his entire career in Detroit.
