McCarver, whose first World Series in the booth was 1985, has served as an analyst for more than 30 years and is now off to retirement. His goodbye to the game didn’t get the fanfare in his final days of work as Mariano Rivera, but, whether you loved him or hated him, it’s certainly worth noting.
