Chaz Roe pitched the final two innings of the game and struck out six Chihuahuas to earn his seventh save. Jeff Francoeur went 1-for-4 with a solo home run for the Chihuahuas in the loss. It was Francoeur’s team-leading 13th homer and his fourth in the last seven games. Jonathan Galvez went 2-for-4 in the loss, his fourth multi-hit game in his last six games played.

El Paso starter Billy Buckner allowed five earned runs in 5.1 innings and collected two hits at the plate. Buckner is now 4-for-8 this year batting. The Chihuahuas have lost four of their last five games.
